Volunteer
Lend a Hand,Change a Life
There's no such thing as “just a volunteer.”
Whether you're a seasoned IT wizard, a marketing guru, a numbers nerd, a people person, or just someone who knows their way around a screwdriver, we've got room for you.
Our work covers everything from refurbishing donated devices to running community outreach, organising logistics, managing data securely, and keeping things ticking behind the scenes. Every skill matters, and every contribution moves us forward.
You don't need tech experience to make an impact, just a willingness to help and a belief that everyone deserves access to the digital world. If you're passionate about reducing e-waste, improving digital inclusion, or just doing some real good, we'd love to have you on board.
There's no such thing as “just a volunteer.”
Where you fit in
Roles for every kind of person
We need all sorts. Here are some of the ways our volunteers make a difference.
Device refurbishment
Help us test, repair, and rebuild donated laptops, tablets, and phones. Component-level work or full rebuilds, whatever suits your skill level.
Logistics & collections
Assist with device pickups, sorting donations, managing inventory, and getting tech where it needs to go.
Data security
Run secure data wipes to NIST 800-88 standards. Training provided. Precision and care are what matter most.
Marketing & comms
Help tell our story through social media, content writing, photography, or campaign coordination.
Admin & operations
Support the team with data entry, reporting, donor correspondence, and keeping things running smoothly.
Community outreach
Connect with schools, charities, and community groups to identify need and deliver devices to the people who need them.

Groups welcome
Volunteer as a group
Got a team looking for a meaningful way to give back? We welcome corporate groups, university clubs, school programs, and community organisations for hands-on volunteering days.
Your group can help sort and test donated devices, assist with logistics, or take part in a community outreach event. It's a great team-building experience that creates real impact, and we'll handle all the setup.
Get in TouchIndividuals
Volunteer as an individual
Whether you can spare a few hours a week or want to commit to something more regular, there's a place for you. We offer flexible arrangements that fit around your life: no minimum hours, no rigid schedules.
All volunteers receive an induction and any training needed for their role. You'll be part of a supportive team that genuinely values what you bring to the table. And if you're completing a Duke of Edinburgh Award, community service hours, or a university placement, we can help with that too.
